Gamma Sigma Alpha - National Greek Academic Honor Society
Gamma Sigma Alpha
Gamma Sigma Alpha National Academic Greek Honor Society (GSA) is a premier organization committed to the academic success of our members and alignment with the academic missions of our host institutions. Students are eligible for membership based on grade point average and membership in a Greek fraternity or sorority. The Society strives to uphold the high ideals of scholastic achievement and therefore, only students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) at the start of their junior year or a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in any semester during their junior or senior year are eligible. This honor society has more than 215 chapters and recognizes nearly 2,000 members of fraternities and sororities each year.
Letter from our Gamma Sigma Alpha President
Dear Prospective Gamma Sigma Alpha Member,
Thank you for visiting the GSA page. GSA is a nationally recognized Greek academic honors society. On WKU's campus, GSA works to promote academic achievement, as well as co-host the annual Greek Academic Banquet.
Greek organizations help us to grow, mature, and become better versions of ourselves as college students. It has truly been an honor to be a part of an organization that recognizes the academic achievements within our Greek community.
If you are a Greek junior or senior (by credit hours) with at least a 3.5 GPA, I hope you consider becoming a member of this organization and see how it can enrich your life.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
