WKU Topper Transit offers interior advertising space to campus departments, offices, organizations, and local businesses. Interior bus advertising is a great opportunity to promote your department or business' events, products, and services.
Advertisements on Topper Transit are highly visible and a very effective way to reach the campus population. Your 11" x 28" ads are installed in seven large transit buses which cover all WKU transit routes. Your message is exposed to over 4,500 students, faculty and staff members daily.
With an enrollment of over 20,000 students, WKU continues to be one of the fastest growing universities in Kentucky - a sustaining trend over the last ten years. A steady increase in enrollment and transit ridership provides a unique way to increase visibility to a target market.
About WKU Transit
WKU’s transit service includes seven buses on 6 routes to 40 stops transporting approximately 4,800 passengers daily. Ridership has steadily increased.
Topper Transit’s fundamental bus service includes multi-stop and express shuttle service that radiates from Campbell Lane/South Campus locations into main campus, as well as multiple commercial locations throughout Bowling Green. These services, combined with special event shuttles and special transit service for riders with disabilities, are the framework for a transit system that helps keep WKU moving forward.
Ads may not be used to promote political, personal, biased, slanderous, discriminatory or inappropriate views and/or propaganda.
All material is subject to review and approval by the PTS Marketing Dept. which reserves the right to refuse any sign concept or advertiser.
Logos and/or graphics may be emailed to PTS Marketing Department for ad production or the advertiser my opt to create their own advertisements provided they meet the prescribed requirements. Failure to provide artwork/text may result in production/advertising delay.
PTS determines the location of each sign in the bus based on availability. The advertiser is responsible for reproducing signs that are vandalized, stolen, worn out, or otherwise damaged/unusable. PTS will inspect signs on a regular basis and remove any sign that becomes too damaged to remain in place.
At the end of the advertising term, all ads are destroyed unless claimed by the advertiser within 7 days. PTS will not store ads due to space limitations.
Advertising Rates and information
One Semester: $400.00
Fall and Spring Semesters (one design): $640.00 (20% discount)
One Semester: $800.00
Fall and Spring Semesters (one design): $1,280.00 (20% discount)
Advertising space is limited and sold on a first come, first served basis.
Summer rates not available.
Ads must be exactly 11" x 28" (horizontal) and laminated.
Rental space is for 24 advertising signs (2 in each bus).
Ad printing costs are separate. If printing is done by PTS, an additional printing fee will be added to the total cost per design.
If advertiser is supplying the ads, only the space fee will be charged.
All ad copy, graphics, photos, etc. must be supplied via email to the PTS Advertising Department for production at least 3 weeks in advance of advertising dates.
All advertising must be paid prior to posting. Non-payment will result in cancellation.
