The Office of Student Activities  works to provide co-curricular activities for those students who want to become involved at WKU. We have over 350 registered student organizations, ranging from Departmental, Campus Ministries, Fraternities, General, Honors, Intramural/Recreation, Professional, Service, Sororities, and Student Representative.

NOTICE: Effective 11/13/2017, Organizational Aid for the 2017-18 Academic Year has been closed

  • Organizational Aid is a program established by the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University.  Each year SGA sets aside funding to assist actively registered student groups on WKU's Campus. The goal of this initiative is to enhance the learning, leadership & volunteer opportunities of not only the students who participate in WKU Student Groups/Organizations, but also to enhance/benefit WKU, the student body and the community of Bowling Green KY.

  • 2017-18 Organizational Aid Application
    • Submit Org Aid Applications to the Student Government Association
    • DEADLINES:  Organizational Aid is now closed.
      • 2017 Fall Semester: Tuesday, November 21, 2016
        • All applications must be submitted and an interview scheduled on or before November 7, 2017; org aid interviews for the 2017 Fall Semester WILL NOT  scheduled for any date passed November 21, 2017.
      • 2018 Spring Semester: Friday, April 13, 2018
        • All applications must be submitted and an interview scheduled on or before April 13, 2018, unless funding is allocated before this deadline. Organizational Aid interviews for the 2017 Spring Semester will not be scheduled for any date passed April 10, 2018.
