National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program

The Graduate Research Fellowship Program is a National Science Foundation-wide program that provides Fellowships to individuals selected early in their graduate careers based on their demonstrated potential for significant research achievements in science (including social sciences), technology, engineering, mathematics, or STEM education. 

These fellowships provide a $30,000 annual stipend for up to three years of graduate study at any accredited U.S. academic institution. Deadlines are field-specific, but all are in the fall.
